What we’re looking for

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team at OXZ Capital. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and tax compliance of OXZ Capital and it’s subsidiaries. Focus on resolution of complex core custody accounting and financial transactions, where investment accounting knowledge is required to interpret accounting policies, guidelines and/or processes. Responsibilities

• Investment & Fund Structuring Support: Provide advisory on fund structuring, tax treatment of carried interests, and cross-border investments, particularly within real estate and private fund contexts.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and valuation reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with both local and international accounting standards.
• Tax Advisory & Structuring: Support corporate and transaction-related tax advisory projects, including IPO structuring (e.g., REITs, Business Trusts), corporate restructuring, and M&A tax due diligence.
• Regulatory & Tax Compliance: Collaborate with external advisors and local authorities on tax filings, rulings, and incentive applications across multiple jurisdictions.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise junior staff and offshore support teams in daily accounting and reporting tasks, ensuring quality control and adherence to deadlines.
• Complex Transaction Resolution: Provide subject matter expertise on complex investment accounting issues, including impact analysis and interpretation of accounting policies and processes.
• Audit & Risk Management: Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation and addressing complex technical accounting or compliance issues.
• Process Improvement & Efficiency: Identify and drive enhancements to financial processes, reporting accuracy, and system integration to improve workflow efficiency across the finance function.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between finance, tax, legal, and business stakeholders to align on financial reporting, deal structuring, and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Law
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA, CTA) is a good to have.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, corporate tax advisory, or investment accounting, preferably within a professional services firm, Big Four, or a multi-entity regional/international organization.
• Proven experience in fund structuring, M&A tax advisory, or cross-border investment structuring, particularly in real estate or private companies.
• Familiarity with complex investment accounting and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP), including impact analysis and technical interpretation.
• Strong technical understanding of accounting and tax principles, including knowledge of capital allowance, permanent establishment rules, and withholding tax frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial management and reporting
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with regional and local teams, as well as external auditors and advisors.
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive mindset, with a strong sense of professional integrity and accountability.
