What we’re looking for

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team at OXZ Capital. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing financial operations and tax compliance of OXZ Capital and it’s subsidiaries, tracking receivables and payables, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities

Group Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and regional regulations.
Accounts Management: Advise on accounting and tax matters affecting both corporate entities and individual assignees, ensuring tax efficiency and compliance.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the management team to develop and manage regional budgets, including preparing monthly forecasts and variance analyses.
Tax Compliance: Advice and work with external accountants on compliance with regional tax regulations, including preparing tax filings and coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning, including cash flow analysis, cost control, and profitability evaluations for the region.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline accounting processes and reporting within the region.
Regional Coordination: Liaise with local teams across the region to consolidate financial data, provide financial insights, and ensure alignment with the corporate financial strategy.
Audit Support: Support external and internal audits by preparing and providing necessary financial documentation and insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in accounting, including at least 2 years in a team leadership role. Preferably has experience working in an accounting and advisory firm or as a financial accountant within asset management or investment firms.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial reporting standards (IFRS or GAAP)
Strong understanding of regional (SG & ID) tax regulations and compliance requirements
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial management and reporting
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with regional and local teams, as well as external auditors and advisors.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
